Every year for quite a few years, there has been a massive Vauxhall event held at Santa Pod Raceway in England called the Performance Vauxhall Show, also known as PVS. I went for the first time this year, and had mixed opinions. Mainly todo with the weather. Usually the weather has been really hot and sunny, but this year, it absolutely chucked it down with rain, and on the way home I got stuck in a massive hailstorm on the motorway and couldn't see a thing. The main thing we couldn't grasp was the fact that apparently the Astra Owners Network club stand cost us £2352 ($3752) in total, and we got dumped on the "grass". When I say "grass", I mean the muddy bog with some small green things poking out here and there. It was awful!
After a few hours of torrential rain, it finally cleared up and we got some action going

They got the diesel burners out and dried the 1/4 mile drag strip pretty quickly and we had everyone drag racing for a good few hours. After that, we got to see Fireforce 3, a jet powered car with 10,000BHP. It blitzed the 1/4 in 6.1seconds, reaching a speed of 249MPH when it hit the end.
So, here are my photos of the day:
