Saturn Astras and Warranty Service

Hello fellow Astra Owners in the US and Canada! I am  - er , was a Saturn Consultant, that was up until two weeks ago when my store closed. This isn't about that. As an Astra Owner I want to to be proactive and mention not to worry about your Warranties. GM has promised to honor our warranties at other brand dealerships. My suggestion is to call your local Chevrolet or Buick dealer and ask if they are performing Saturn Warranty work. Many are now.  A plus about Chevy is that the upcoming Cruze will be based upon the Astra and have the available 1.8L engine, which means that more Chevrolet technicians will be trained on our engines soon. Hopefully GM will get on the ball and start notifying owners where they can get service done under warranty soon. Until then, hopefully you can find a local GM dealership that will honor your warranty now.
