Hi All.....Question!!!

I'm in a bind I'm looking to buy a new car, FINALLY. I can't decided between a lot of cars, but I think its looking to be between the 2dr Astra of Koup....I know Saturn is leaving forever but, it'll still hopefully have its warranty, etc. The Astra looks amazingly graceful and Europe has done wonders with it but only has 138HP  and only the automatic is still available in like a 200mile radius. The Kia Koup has 173HP and a 6-speed Manual with iPod adaptor....

I like the Astra, a lot. But if I could only buy an automatic one, I'd probably look at other cars

if you want automatic...go for the Kia Forte...Looks great and has loads of standard features...I actually wanted one but bought my Astra instead cause of the price...16,700$ for the Astra and 21000$ Cnd for the Forte...

I personally would go for the Astra...not being 1 sided or anything.  Kia's are actually pretty good these days, they are very popular in Europe.  For me, its the European engineering and the feel of the car, the Kia, although has more power...will forever be a Kia.  Try to look for a 5spd too, im sure the dealership can get one in for you.  In a bad economy they should be shining your shoes while buying a car.

Hmmmm....still can't decide. I got a chance to test drive the Astra, handled very well  There was a little issue with visibility through the tiny rear, but awesome none the less. The automatic seemed hesitant and weak in 2nd gear, and I will ask about a manual. Should be testing the Kia soon.

Yeah , the word "Kia" is off-setting but isn't Saturn as well?  It seems that there are barely any mods for the Astra, and the Koup seems to be getting enough attention for (hopefully) many tuners, etc. to start producing things.

That is also true...the brand doesn't really matter. I just want a car that's a head turner; performance to turn the heads and visuals that keep the heads turned lol

haha alright.  And the whole saturn thing...do like some of us and either opel or vauxhall the crap out of it! haha you'll have a really unique car.  I've been pulled over twice already becuase the cops thought i actually imported an Opel and i was gonna get a vehicle inspection
