Hello everybody!
I recently traded in my 1997 Acura CL 3.0 for a brand spankin' new (for me anyway) 2008 Astra XR 3-door!
She's salsa red, with a five-speed and not much else. I figured it was time to get a nicer car with a bit more versatility and range in gas mileage.
I really like what you guys have set up with this community, and I'm looking forward to further ameliorating the terrific support you guys have already started.
So what do I want to do with the Astra? This probably sounds like a broken record to you guys by now but... :
- Opel redux (grill, rear badge, door sills, wheel caps, steering wheel cap)
- Stubby antenna (I've heard VW units work for this, but I'm not positive)
- 4300k hids (my 6000k's in my CL were just a bit too blue)
I like the style of the vehicle enough to where I don't really want to change much. I tend to side towards the "OEM Plus" designation of modification. The Honda/Acura crowd didn't really strike me as followers of that regard.
