When changing from the factory wheels to an aftermarket wheel what lug bolts have people used?  Also is their chrome lug bolts that are available?

depends on the wheel. Most aftermarket wheels need conical seat bolts.

whatever the wheels came with. usually when you order wheels from a company (tirerack for example), they ship with the proper bolts needed for your car

In an effort to control cost (do all the leg work / not write a big check for someone else to do it), stop swapping the summer & winter tires on my factory rims, stay with 16" rims - had the tires and winters are hard on our roads (potholes) not the best place for low profile tires and improve the looks this is what I came up with:
- American Racing Wheels - Chrome Casino AR6836752.  Application guide claims 65.2 mm center hub which was not true (72.64mm) yet they sent me hub centric rings to correct this.
- The sources I was dealing with were not including the lug bolts yet I got a set of chrome bolts from our engineering department which are company may be bringing to market in the future.  In addition I added a new set of wheel locks (McGard p/n #27179).  Both bolts are about 3/4" longer then stock, our CS dept claims ideally you should get six turns when tighten the bolts.
