Astra chrome pedals

Did anyone have the optional Chrome pedals put on their Astra? How do they attach? I believe they replace the OEM rubber pads. Any good? Are they a higher height than the OEM pedal covers?

My SXi model came with alloy pedals as standard. I'd say they're much better than the rubbers. I couldn't tell you about how they sit or attach compared to the rubbers though, as they were standard...
