Hey there, new to the forum, never really used one before...never had the need to.
Anyways i have a 2008 Silver Astra XR as many of you probablly do, its a 5 door and i love it so far.  Looking for modifications to the car like lowering it, wheels, as Opel conversion, intake or airfilter mods and many other things.  I've found some springs from Eibach lowering it an 1.5" for about $330 USD.  Wondering if it is worth it since the astra does have amazing control already.  A simple K&N filter to replace the one in the box might make the rpm's climb a little faster i was told.  Rims not a huge deal right now, but i found a nice set of Enkei's 17inch for about 1300 USD with rubber.  Not too certrain on where i should start my astra build up, looking for any comments or suggestions, anything is much appreciated.  Thanks for all the help in advance.

Hey I have a 08 xr3 white with the 18s. I went with a B&G spring kit, front almost tucks tire and rear has bout a half inch gap in the wheel well. They ride amazing and it handels awesome. Truely impressed with the kit. I paid about 280 for the kit.

just ordered some H&R springs. 1.5 to the front and 1.4 to the back, it'll give my astra the stance it deserves.  Also ordered just a regualr K&N air filter...just for fun.
Future mods are
-window & taillight tint
-opel, irmscher, or steinmetz grille, rear badge
-rear chrome moulding painted piano black
-bright yellow fog bulbs
-6000k alumina xenon HID kit
-wheels?
-amp with 10" sub

let me know what you all think.

it would be like this one , with the slats, to match the rest of the bumper inserts. Mine's the honeycomb one because my bumper has honeycomb inserts. Let me know if you're still interested.

just an update...bright bulbs are installed.  30 bucks and they're more then decent...really makes me wanna switch to HID's though.  Yellow fog bulbs are in, not installed yet!  H&R springs still on the way (back order) and to top it off, picked up a cone filter for the intake...results like you wouldn't belive.  The K&N apollo filter is useless..there is a plastic cover over it still only letting air hit the one spot.  Mine is exposed and sucks air like you wouldn't belive...pretty much a performance intake now.  Gives it the torque it needs, and revs up like a dream.  Still looking for an opel or vauxhall grille...if anyone knows anyhing please let me know. much appreciated.
